Job summary

Enso Recruitment partners with an established international technology business to recruit a Senior DevOps Engineer. The role offers significant ownership of cloud infrastructure, working on large-scale systems with autonomy to influence platform direction and engineering practice, within a high-caliber team in Belfast.

You will design, deploy, and operate core infrastructure, champion security, cost efficiency, and reliability, and mentor peers as the function grows.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience with AWS and container orchestration.
• Proficient in Python with infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Terraform and data warehousing platforms like Snowflake.
• Strong ability to communicate complex infra decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and deployment of core infrastructure and platform services.
• Champion best practices across cloud infrastructure with focus on performance, security, and cost.
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting to ensure platform reliability.
• Maintain business continuity plans and ensure compliance across the platform.
• Support engineers with infra queries and troubleshoot production issues.
