Job summary

Talent Focus Executive Search and Consulting in Belfast is partnering with an international technology business to appoint a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Belfast-based Engineering team.

This hands-on role focuses on building reliable infrastructure, automating deployments and improving how software moves from development into production, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience within DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Jenkins and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket or similar VCS.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, Groovy, Java or Perl.
• Experience with Docker, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and automation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Work extensively with Kubernetes, Terraform and Jenkins.
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure.
• Support private and public cloud environments at scale.
• Improve reliability, monitoring and platform performance.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering and operations teams.
• Help establish scalable infrastructure standards and best practices.
