Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift in production.
• Strong Terraform knowledge with module design and policy checks.
• Experience delivering CI/CD and GitOps for regulated banking platforms.
• Proven ability to design observability, SLOs and runbook automation.
• Ability to embed automated controls into delivery and platforms in a regulated environment.
• Proven experience in mentoring engineers and leading technical design.
• Clear communication with senior stakeholders, risk and audit.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture of Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms for core banking with multi-cluster resilience.
• Set Terraform standards including state strategy, testing and safe promotion.
• Lead Backstage and IDP roadmap with templates, catalogue quality, plugins and golden paths.
• Design CI/CD and GitOps patterns for core banking, including progressive delivery and security.
• Break down large workload into roadmaps; flag risks and dependencies early.
• Lead major incidents resolution and follow-up improvements.
• Review designs, code and changes with architecture and security teams.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, risk, audit and operations teams.
