HKEX is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to advance the internal tooling for development, testing, and deployment. You will drive productivity by automating tasks and standardising processes in a regulated prod environment.

The role spans design, implementation, and support, partnering with development and IT operations across the UK division. The candidate will bring deep experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD, plus strong scripting in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years in software development workflows and infrastructure automation.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong Kubernetes experience (self-managed) and CI/CD expertise.
• Familiarity with financial services regulatory data governance is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across on-prem environments.
• Develop Python scripts and automation tools for provisioning, monitoring, and deployment.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Bamboo, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, or similar tools.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application delivery and operations.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are followed in infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Lead incident analysis and root cause investigations for data-related issues, implementing improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication of project status, risks, and requirements.
• Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
