United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the engineering team in Oxford, UK. You will own the deployment architecture, optimise day-to-day delivery across our on-premise estate, and drive the rollout of a modern Kubernetes platform.

This hands-on role grants autonomy over CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies to safely accelerate value to production. You will collaborate with engineering teams to containerise workloads, standardise

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork in complex projects.
• Proven Ansible experience with roles, inventories, vault, idempotency.
• Docker in production environments.
• Networking fundamentals.
• Bash and Python scripting.
• GitOps tooling with ArgoCD or Flux.
• Observability tooling experience (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).

Responsibilities

• Own BAU & platform stability, maintaining deployment health and runbooks.
• Shape engineering self-service workflows and guardrails for Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments (Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD).
• Document deployment processes and ensure safe, scalable adoption across teams.
• Collaborate with TechOps on incident response and post-mortems.
