Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, develop and maintain infrastructure powering our services. You will lead hands-on development, guide engineers through delivery, and support customer and programme requirements in a hybrid UK environment.

You will work across multiple projects, leveraging CI/CD, containers, and cloud platforms (AWS, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker) while ensuring robust security and collaboration in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer with CI/CD and cloud platforms.
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with databases such as SQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in Agile environments.
• British National with the required security clearance for UK government work.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on development and contribute to the codebase, including peer reviews.
• Design engineering features that support delivery of the product roadmap and articulate design decisions.
• Break down large pieces of work into tasks aligned with Agile delivery.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
