Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating closely with development and operations to ensure reliability and security of software systems.

The role requires 6+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and expertise in Docker/Kubernetes, IaC, monitoring, and scripting. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in DevOps/SRE or related roles.
• Strong hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP and container tech (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
• Proficient in Bash/Python; familiar with networking and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deploy.
• Implement containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate provisioning with IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible.
• Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and security best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
