Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team on a 12-month FTC with strong PERM potential. You will design and automate secure, scalable platforms across cloud, automation, and security domains, guiding multiple delivery workstreams with autonomy.

You will lead CI/CD, IaC, and tooling across AWS/Azure, OpenShift, and container orchestration while mentoring engineers and shaping platform strategy for continued transformation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines across cloud platforms.
• Strong automation mindset with focus on secure, scalable deployments.
• Ability to lead engineers and influence DevOps strategy and practices.
• Experience with GitLab/Jenkins/SonarQube and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS or Azure and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery.
• Create automated deployment processes and release frameworks.
• Configure DevOps toolchains including GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, and testing platforms.
• Support environment provisioning, automation, and deployment best practices.
• Implement CI/CD, CD, and CT across projects.
• Build reusable Infrastructure as Code assets.
• Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure or other clouds.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Manage container workloads and orchestration platforms.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for platforms.
• Ensure platform resilience, scalability, and performance.
