Job summary

Envitia in the UK is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate secure cloud‑native platforms supporting critical government and client missions. You’ll develop automated pipelines, manage IaC, and optimise services across AWS/Azure with Kubernetes/OpenShift ecosystems.

Engage in the full software delivery lifecycle within Agile teams, implementing observability and governance while ensuring security and reliability in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and supporting secure cloud‑based platforms and automated delivery pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and cloud services.
• Strong understanding of security, governance and regulatory requirements in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC and automation tools.
• Support and optimise AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS and ECS platforms.
• Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions for reliability and visibility.
• Work closely with software engineers, testers and architects to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and environment issues across dev and production.
• Contribute to cloud migration initiatives and platform improvements.
• Share knowledge and automation patterns across teams.
• Adhere to security, governance and information handling in regulated environments.
