Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, automate, and support modern cloud-based platforms and software delivery pipelines. You will work within agile delivery teams to improve deployment reliability, operational resilience, and engineering efficiency while driving DevOps best practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating cloud-first platforms.
• Proficient with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK or similar).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop automation solutions to improve delivery speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Support containerised and cloud-native environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Promote DevSecOps practices, security controls, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, testers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Lead troubleshooting, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
