Job summary

Global Insurer is seeking a Senior Development Underwriter to focus on mid-market property and casualty risks, building strong broker relationships across the Midlands. You will own quotations and submissions, working to targets within the business strategy and engaging brokers in person at events to drive performance.

You will handle a mix of new business and, where needed, renewals or MTAs, with exposure to complex accounts and autonomy to shape decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive property and casualty underwriting experience.
• Experience with mid-market accounts preferred.
• Senior-level readiness with ability to take autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop relationships with Brokers across the Midlands.
• Manage new business quotations and submissions to meet targets.
• Engage with Brokers face-to-face and at industry events.
• Possible management of existing business including MTA's and renewals.
• Write high quality business with autonomy to make decisions.
