PIB Group is seeking a Senior Development Underwriter to expand the business, assess complex risks and deliver underwriting solutions in a regulated environment. You will collaborate across teams to develop existing products and new niche propositions while strengthening broker partnerships.

The role requires a proven track record in senior underwriting, leadership, and P&L delivery within the UK insurance sector. The position offers a challenging, growth-focused environment at PIB Group.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ underwriting experience in the insurance industry, with strong property knowledge.
• Experience managing people in a regulated FCA environment.
• Strong broker market understanding and ability to develop relationships.
• Experience delivering P&L and leading teams through change.
• Knowledge of FCA T&C and compliance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Develop underwriting for Charity, Faith and Recruitment products directed by targets and service levels.
• Assist in New Business, Renewals and MTAs for our Brokers and manage administration tasks.
• Develop new niche sector propositions and monitor peer competitors for differentiators.
• Support pricing, data and governance reporting with the senior team.
