Job summary

PIB Group’s Q Underwriting is seeking an experienced underwriter to manage a portfolio of commercial risks. You will assess, price and underwrite new business, renewals and MTAs within delegated authority, delivering profitable growth while maintaining high service quality.

You will analyse risk information, financials and survey reports to support sound underwriting decisions and structure terms, conditions and limits as per product wordings. Strong broker relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Underwriter role requiring experience in commercial insurance and risk selection.
• Strong technical underwriting knowledge and ability to analyse risk information.

Responsibilities

• Assess, price and underwrite new business, renewals and MTAs within delegated authority.
• Analyse risk information, financials, claims experience and survey reports to support decisions.
• Structure and negotiate terms, conditions, endorsements and limits with product wordings and guides.
• Refer cases outside personal authority with clear rationale and recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and partners.
