Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial underwriting role within an insurer, MGA or broker with underwriting authority.
• Proven ability to underwrite new and existing property business.
• Track record of profitable book growth and KPI delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess, price and underwrite new business, renewals and MTAs within delegated authority.
• Provide high-standard customer service supported by technical knowledge.
• Analyse risk information, financials, claims data and surveys to guide decisions.
• Structure terms and conditions, endorsements and limits per product wordings and guides.
• Refer cases outside authority with clear rationale.
