Job summary

JPMorgan Chase's International Consumer Bank is seeking a Senior Designer - Design Systems to help build the bank of the future from scratch. You will join a flat-structure, agile team in London with a growing presence in Berlin, and have the opportunity to make a real impact.

You will drive design system excellence across our banking app and other touchpoints, collaborate with product design, researchers, technologists and business experts, and lead token management and accessibility practices

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on design and design system experience in product/service environments.
• Strong portfolio showing user-centered solutions translating to system designs.
• Ability to deliver impactful products with a solution-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of modern design tools, systems, and prototyping software.
• Experience with system design across digital touchpoints, including mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive design system excellence and ensure consistency across banking app and touchpoints.
• Collaborate with product design, researchers, designers, technologists, and business experts to create user-centered products.
• Support broader business strategy and deliver design outcomes on time.
• Use data/insights to evolve the design system and tokens.
• Lead cross-discipline collaboration to resolve design system issues and deliver business outcomes.
• Manage stakeholders and coordinate with disciplines to scale design systems.
• Maintain and scale design system and tokens across platforms.
• Possess practical knowledge of accessibility practices (WCAG 2.2) and inclusive design.
• Explore new methods to improve workflows and output quality.
