Qualifications

• Proven experience in hands-on design and design system roles, demonstrating high levels of craft and problem-solving in product/service environments.
• Strong portfolio showing user-centered solutions and how to translate experiences into systems.
• Solution-oriented with ability to deliver impactful products.
• Understanding of current and emerging design system tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive design system excellence and uphold quality and consistency in design deliverables for our banking app and other customer touch points
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams—including product design, researchers, designers, technologists, and business experts to support the creation of customer-focused products and services
• Demonstrates an ability to support the broader business strategy, and deliver design system outcomes and outputs efficiently and on time to achieve success
• Uses insights and data to maintain and evolve our design system
• Champions and leads cross-discipline collaboration and actively engages to resolve complex design system and experience issues and deliver business outcomes
• Manage stakeholders, collaborate with disciplines to deliver design system excellence
• Helps to maintain, improve and scale our design system
• In-depth and practical experience setting up and maintaining tokens
• Practical knowledge of accessibility practices and standards (e.g. WCAG 2.2)
• Explores and embraces new or diverse methods and technologies to improve ways of working and the quality of the output
