Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Senior Design Manager to drive the design lifecycle across a portfolio of water and wastewater projects in the UK. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure buildable, compliant designs, and collaborate with clients, suppliers and delivery teams to meet programme objectives.

The role emphasizes leadership in design delivery, safety, sustainability and governance, with a focus on delivering value to customers and communities within a flexible UK-wide setup.

Qualifications

• Extensive multidisciplinary design-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction health and safety.
• Experience in the water or wastewater sector would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Leading engineering and design delivery across a portfolio of projects, from scope definition through to handover.
• Ensuring designs meet health and safety, quality, technical, environmental, sustainability and governance requirements.
• Collaborating with designers, technical specialists, suppliers, construction teams and clients to deliver outcomes.
• Managing design plans, deliverables, risks, decisions, change control and monthly reporting.
• Promoting open communication, constructive challenge and continuous improvement.
