Job summary

Senior Design Manager for the LT14 Lewis Hub project, based at Maxim Park, Eurocentral with regular travel to Arnish Moor on the Isle of Lewis. You will lead multidisciplinary design teams to deliver safe, buildable, and cost-effective solutions in partnership with SSEN Transmission.

The role requires strong leadership, design strategy development, and experience across major infrastructure projects, with flexibility for travel to remote locations in Scotland.

Qualifications

Proven senior-level design management experience on large, complex projects.
Experience developing and implementing project design strategies.
Experience with infrastructure, energy, utilities or complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the design process to ensure safe, buildable, cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams (civil, structural, M&E).
Manage third-party consultants and novated design teams.
Ensure design solutions meet customer requirements, budgets and programmes.
Present design proposals and progress to customer and leadership team.
Support design assurance, BIM coordination and change-control processes.
