Job summary

Bovis is seeking a Design Manager to lead design management on projects from pre-bid to handover, collaborating with the senior project team. You will integrate with senior leaders and manage consultant design, reviews, and governance as part of delivering complex projects.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and knowledge of CDM regulations, with a focus on safety and sustainability. National security vetting may apply for the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Ability to Plan, Manage and Monitor Design in line with Building Act Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, supply chain, peers and stakeholders.
• Clear judgement when weighing multiple, complex sources of information and directions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Design Management on projects using relevant experience and judgement.
• Represent the business with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
