Job summary

Cadent is seeking a Senior Design Administrator to join our Network Design team, ensuring accurate data, compliant processes and timely design support for connections and reinforcements.

You’ll work with Design Officers, Analysts and stakeholders across the network, maintaining design tools, reports and logs while driving continuous improvement and delivering excellent service to internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Proven organisational and admin skills.
• IT skills with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Confident written and verbal communicator with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or within a busy team.
• Understanding of RIIO regulatory framework and commercial requirements (advantageous).
• Knowledge of DPRS, IDS, ESRI, GBNA (desirable).

Responsibilities

As a Senior Design Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our Network Design team — ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant flow of information that underpins safe and effective operation of our gas network. Your work will directly support the design, modelling and technical processes that help us accept new connections, identify reinforcement needs, and deliver a high-quality, reliable service for our customers.

This is a role for someone who thrives in a busy, data‑driven environment and loves being part of a team where accuracy, organisation, and collaboration really matter. You’ll work closely with Design Officers, Analysts and stakeholders across the network, helping ensure our systems, reports, action logs and design tools are updated, reliable and compliant. You’ll also play a key role in improving processes, maintaining best practice, and delivering brilliant customer service to internal and external partners.
