Job summary

iBC Healthcare invites applications for a Deputy Manager to lead our Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs across Leicestershire and Coventry. The role, reporting to the Registered Manager, focuses on quality of care, CQC compliance, and visible people management across multiple sites.

Base location: Leicester, £40,000 per annum, 40 hours per week, full-time.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a Deputy Manager or equivalent role supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
• Extensive knowledge of CQC regulations and the fundamental standards.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel across the cluster.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in leading day-to-day operation of a cluster of Supported Living services.
• Deputise for, and cover, the Registered Manager during periods of leave or absence.
• Provide 2nd line on-call support across the cluster outside core hours.
• Drive quality of care that is person-centred and outcome-focused.
• Be a strong, visible presence across multiple sites, supporting staff, families, and the people we support.
• Support the recruitment, induction, and ongoing training and development of staff across the cluster.
• Regularly audit and review care plans, risk assessments, and support plans.
• Support the investigation and management of incidents, safeguarding concerns, and complaints.
• Build relationships with families, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
