Job summary

Leaders in Care is recruiting for a Deputy Manager in Leicester to join a specialist care provider. The role is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £42,000 and the chance to shape service development and quality with support from an experienced senior management team.

You will lead a large staff team, drive a person-centred culture and work alongside the Registered Manager to ensure high standards of care and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex behaviours.
• Experience leading teams and managing a large staff group.
• Experience in a regulated care environment with safeguarding and governance.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing the staff team.
• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
• Championing Positive Behaviour Support and least restrictive practice.
• Coaching and mentoring staff to improve performance and confidence.
• Driving quality improvement and maintaining high standards of care.
• Supporting safeguarding, governance and service development.
• Promoting a positive, person-centred culture across the service.
• Working closely with senior leaders to identify and implement improvements.
• Ensuring individuals are supported to achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.
