Job summary

Bupa Dental Care in Woking is seeking a capable Lead Dental Receptionist to run the front desk across 4 days on reception and 1 day on office-based duties. You will lead and support the reception team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and outstanding patient care in a busy 7-surgery practice.

Ideal candidates have dental reception experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and a proactive leadership mindset, with a view to long-term development within a growing dental group.

Qualifications

• Previous dental reception experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive approach and ability to lead by example.
• Desire to develop and progress within a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reception and staff rotas.
• Warmly greet patients and manage queries by phone and in person.
• Manage diary, bookings, cancellations and rescheduling.
• Support patients with private vs NHS options and payments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information.
• Handle concerns and complaints professionally to a positive outcome.
• Assist clinicians with smooth handovers and patient journey from reception to treatment.
