Job summary

Speedo, part of Pentland Brands, is seeking a Planning professional to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time, delivering availability while achieving sales, margin and inventory targets. You will lead demand reviews, refine forecasts, champion core ranges, and balance stock investment with growth opportunities across our Speedo ranges.

Qualifications

Ability to analyse sales data, trends and market research to inform inventory planning and pricing decisions.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills with experience in forecasting and margin metrics.
Clear and collaborative communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate cross-functionally to plan category volumes based on growth plans and market strategies.
Develop pre-season forecasts for vendor and material planning with regional teams.
Lead demand reviews and adjust forecasts in response to changing demand.
Prepare monthly buy summaries showing proposed spending across units and categories.
Manage the dynamic buy calendar and ensure checks before purchase orders.
Maintain inventory stability and optimise sales conversion.
Collaborate with Commercial and Market Merch to allocate stock for in-season and yearly sales.
Monitor orderbook movements and adapt plans with Commercial teams.
Monitor trading funnel and advise on markdowns to protect cash and stock health.
