Job summary
Pinsent Masons is seeking a Senior MLS Delivery Manager to join the UK & Middle East Centre of Excellence. You will drive service excellence across Finance & Projects capabilities, shaping delivery models and leading high-performing legal delivery teams.
This role involves strategic growth through innovation, technology adoption and operational transformation initiatives. You will engage with senior stakeholders, manage multiple delivery teams, and own performance metrics including utilisation,
Qualifications
- Experience delivering multi-disciplinary legal services in high-volume, multi-location environments.
- Proven leadership and people-development experience including coaching and succession planning.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders to adopt innovative service delivery models.
- Experience implementing or driving adoption of AI-enabled and technology-enabled service delivery.
- Strong financial management, forecasting and budgeting skills.
- Experience in finance and/or construction & projects workstreams is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Identify requirements for scalable service offerings, delivery models and tech-enabled solutions.
- Lead legal delivery teams (Finance & Banking; Construction & Projects) ensuring service excellence and client satisfaction.
- Develop a firmwide engagement approach to promote utilisation of services and strengthen internal relationships.
- Lead development of career frameworks, succession planning and people development agenda.
- Support client solutions and present to clients at RFPs and pitches.
- Own service performance, including utilisation, profitability, forecasting, budgets and KPIs.
- Drive innovation, process optimisation and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Lead continuous improvement & transformation initiatives using data and insights.
- Input into headcount planning and strategic resourcing.
- Directly line-manage paralegals where Delivery Manager is not in place.
