Job summary

OneArc is seeking a senior Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between simulation technology and customer objectives. You will guide military and government clients from demonstrations through design and delivery of robust solutions.

You will partner with Business Development, Engineering and Product teams to translate complex needs into actionable technical designs, becoming a storyteller and strategist who ensures value beyond requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree level or above in numerate, physics or computer science field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in simulation technology (hardware and software).
• Customer requirements management.
• Experience in solutions architecture and systems engineering principles.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Understanding of software development processes.
• Defense simulation industry experience is beneficial.
• Experience with VBS or other COTS simulation in military contexts.
• International and domestic travel required.

Responsibilities

• Client Interaction: engage with military and industry clients to gather training and technical requirements.
• Technical Expertise: understand OneArc products and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Communication: facilitate clear technical and commercial communication across teams.
• Requirements Gathering: collect requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
• Solutions Design: design and present technical solutions and demos.
• Commercial Awareness: align solutions with client constraints and cash flow.
• Writing: describe solutions and benefits in proposals and presentations.
• Organized: manage multiple opportunity outputs efficiently.
• Implementation Support: assist in design, implementation and acceptance stages.
• Technical Leadership: lead pre-sales delivery and guide development teams.
