Job summary
Nova Systems is a global engineering services and technology solutions company delivering independent technical support for defence and industrial projects. The Senior Modelling and Simulation Engineer will translate user requirements into engineering designs and oversee delivery by software/hardware teams.
The role involves leading M&S projects, ensuring on-time delivery, and communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including military operators.
Qualifications
- Understanding of and leading teams through the engineering lifecycle.
- Knowledge of software development approaches.
- Testing and acceptance of software/hardware.
- Generation of minimum viable products / concept capability demonstrators.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the development of M&S capabilities ensuring they are delivered on time and to quality.
- Comfortable working with software engineers and data analysts solving complex technical issues.
- Comfortable explaining M&S capabilities to non-technical audiences (including military operators).
- Proactive engagement across the team to resolve issues as they occur.
- Supporting other team members through the engineering lifecycle, including translation of user requirements.
- Leading the technical delivery of customer demonstrations / presentations.
