Job summary

Ncounter Technology Recruitment is seeking Senior Business Consultants to join its Defence practice, delivering complex transformation and technology programmes with real impact on UK Defence. You will shape strategy, lead workstreams and collaborate with senior stakeholders across technical specialists and subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• Existing SC Clearance required
• 3–5 years of relevant experience (capability valued over years)
• Consulting experience with UK Defence or MOD programmes
• Experience owning workstreams, projects or significant client deliverables
• Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills
• Exposure to digital transformation, technology strategy, programme delivery, business analysis or organisational change
• Knowledge of public sector procurement, governance, investment appraisal or the HM Treasury Green Book would be valuable
• Former military professionals with consulting/programme/technology delivery experience are welcome

Responsibilities

• Shape digital and technology strategy and transformation workstreams for Defence clients
• Lead transformation workstreams and support major programmes through delivery challenges
• Develop business cases, operating models and transformation roadmaps for clients
• Own defined pieces of consulting work and turn complex problems into practical recommendations
• Engage senior Defence stakeholders and facilitate workshops to align on outcomes
