Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to lead cross-discipline teams on medium risk defence projects in the UK. The role emphasizes scope definition, performance baselining, and change control.

You will work with the Integrated Project Team to manage Earned Value, risk and cost data, supporting governance and ensuring auditable decisions. Expect on-site collaboration 2–3 days a week with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering projects in highly regulated sectors such as defence or infrastructure.
• Experience across Project Controls disciplines: planning/scheduling, cost estimation, cost control, risk management or performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-discipline Project Controls teams on medium risk, medium complexity projects.
• Define scope with exclusions, assumptions, interfaces and dependencies to enable WBS.
• Establish robust Performance Measurement Baseline and manage change control.
• Collaborate with suppliers to analyse performance data per contractual requirements.
• Ensure integration of scope, cost, risk and schedule; provide delivery insights.
