Job summary

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Databasing Officer to lead the development and accuracy of our CRM system (Donorflex) and serve as the main contact for system queries.

You will oversee data processing, exports and reporting, and analyse supporter data to support income generation and care costs. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) based at the Cambridge hospice.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent working experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Working knowledge of data protection legislation.
• Previous experience with IT programmes or CRM systems along with producing reporting and data analysis is essential.

Job description

The Supporter Care team, which sits within the Income Generation and Communications team, manages relationships throughout our community increasing awareness of the charity and raising vital funds to contribute to the cost of our care.

Due to growth within the team, we have an opportunity to join us as a Senior Databasing Officer! This new role will lead in the development, accuracy and effective use of the Charity’s customer relationship management (CRM) system (Donorflex) and act as the main point of contact for any system related queries.

Main duties will include:

• Leading on the operational development and optimisation of our CRM
• Planning and implementing system and process improvements
• Overseeing the accurate processing of supporter data
• Managing data exports and reporting
• Data analysis

To be successful in this role you will have a degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent working experience, along with advanced knowledge of Excel and a working knowledge of data protection legislation.

Previous experience working with IT programmes or CRM systems along with producing reporting and data analysis is essential.

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, and will be based at our Hospice in Cambridge.

Interviews for this role will take place on 30th September.
