Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Senior Data Scientist within its Workday Products division to develop AI/ML solutions for a fast-growing suite of Workday products – including Smart, Employee Document Management and Pay Transparency Analyzer. You will design and deliver advanced AI/ML models to improve functionality, scalability and efficiency in production environments.

You may also carry some line management responsibilities for junior team members, and you will collaborate with engineering to deploy,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to apply math, statistics and ML to real datasets.
• Strong Python coding skills for production ML solutions.
• Experience with ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience deploying ML models to production with engineering teams.
• Hands-on GenAI/LLM work (text summarisation, chatbots, content generation).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience creating dashboards with Dash or Streamlit.
