Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Lead Data Scientist for its Workday Products division. You will design and deliver advanced AI/ML solutions to improve the Workday product suite, focusing on predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation. You will mentor the team and provide technical leadership across projects.

You will work closely with customers, drive production-grade pipelines, and lead efforts in MLOps, data engineering, and cloud deployments using AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years of relevant industry experience, or a PhD with 4-5 years in industry.
• Significant experience applying advanced statistical techniques, ML, and AI to complex business problems.
• Strong programming skills in Python with production-grade AI/ML solutions.
• Experience with ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and scalable deployments.
• Expertise in designing and maintaining production-grade AI/ML pipelines and MLOps practices.
• Experience with large language models and generative AI use cases.
• Proven experience with Docker/Kubernetes for cloud-native systems.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of AI/ML solutions for Workday product suite.
• Mentor and manage data science team desarrollo and performance.
• Collaborate with customers and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical outcomes.
• Develop predictive analytics for workforce planning and anomaly detection in financial processes.
• Build and deploy scalable, production-grade AI systems with CI/CD pipelines.
