_nology is recruiting a Senior Data Scientist to drive data-informed decisions across healthcare programmes. The role offers remote working with periodic in-person team meetings across the UK and opportunities to shape data-driven decision-making at the programme and Leadership level.

You will transform complex datasets into actionable insights, build statistical models, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical solutions that improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex data analysis to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
• Applying advanced statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time-series modelling
• Developing and optimising advanced SQL queries to analyse large and complex datasets
• Using Python for data wrangling, analysis, modelling, and automation
• Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through the analysis of healthcare and operational data
• Creating compelling visualisations and reports to communicate findings to a range of audiences
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions
• Influencing decision-making through evidence-based recommendations and strategic insight
• Leading analytical projects and ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and timelines
• Supporting and mentoring colleagues to encourage continuous learning and development
• Ensuring analytical outputs meet quality assurance and governance standards
• Driving continuous improvement in analytical methodologies, tools, and best practices
