Job summary

ScottishPower in Glasgow is actively seeking a senior Data Scientist to lead the Customer Service data team, delivering reliable reporting, insights and evidence-based recommendations that sharpen performance and customer outcomes.

You will design dashboards and KPI reporting using Tableau or Power BI, and you will query/transform data with SQL, Power Query, R or Python, presenting findings to senior stakeholders with clarity.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior data, reporting or BI roles.
• Ability to manage people and complex workstreams.
• Experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service data team, set priorities and develop capability.
• Deliver accurate, timely reporting and insights for performance and regulatory needs.
• Design dashboards and KPI reporting with Tableau/Power BI.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and translate data into action.
• Ensure governance, quality and controls across reporting.
