Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking aData Scientist to lead the Customer Service data team, delivering insightful reporting and evidence-based recommendations that drive operational excellence.

You'll design dashboards and KPI reporting using Tableau/Power BI, and interrogate datasets with SQL, Python or R to surface trends and opportunities for improving customer outcomes. Hybrid work options available, with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Senior data, reporting, BI or insight role with people/projects management.
• Excel skills plus dashboards/visualisation using Tableau/Power BI.
• Experience querying, transforming and automating data with SQL/Power Query, R or Python.
• Strong data quality, governance and business partnering skills.
• Ability to present to senior stakeholders with concise evidence-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service data team, setting priorities and workload.
• Develop accurate, timely reporting and insights to inform decisions.
• Design dashboards, scorecards and KPI reporting for regulatory and strategic needs.
• Oversee regulatory, executive and external reporting with clear definitions and controls.
• Interrogate datasets to identify trends and drive evidence-based actions.
• Coordinate on major incidents to provide real-time information to leadership.
• Represent Performance, Reporting & Insight on strategic projects.
