Job summary

National Grid plc is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to support the Data Governance service across NGET. You will translate governance priorities into reporting solutions, tooling requirements and measurable outcomes, acting as a senior analyst and delivery lead with stakeholders across IT and business.

You will own governance reporting, dashboard development and performance measurement, while coordinating backlogs and delivery plans to enable the Data Governance roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering governance reporting and dashboards.
• Ability to translate governance priorities into requirements and backlog items.
• Strong collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop and maintain governance reporting, dashboards and performance measures.
• Gather, document and manage business, reporting and tooling requirements.
• Develop and maintain governance tooling backlogs with engineering teams.
• Support design and continuous improvement of governance processes and reporting.
• Support assurance activities through KPI monitoring and reporting.
• Support roadmap delivery through backlog management and progress reporting.
• Collaborate with the Principal Data Governance Manager to translate priorities into plans and outcomes.
• Prepare governance communications, presentations and stakeholder updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance reporting, tooling and processes.
