Job summary

Together in Cheadle, UK, is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead the development and continuous improvement of our Data Governance Framework, driving ownership, stewardship, data quality and metadata management across the organisation.

You will influence senior stakeholders, mentor Data Governance Analysts and Stewards, and contribute to data architecture activities including modelling and mapping to ensure regulatory compliance and strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Data governance, quality, and management expertise across BI, engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience implementing or improving a formal Data Governance Framework.
• Knowledge of ownership, stewardship, quality, metadata, glossaries, lineage and critical data elements.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience embedding governance policies, standards and controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of Together's Data Governance Framework.
• Drive data ownership, stewardship, quality, metadata management and governance maturity.
• Influence decision making and embed practical data controls supporting compliance and efficiency.
• Contribute to data architecture activities including modelling, mapping, and data structure definitions.
• Mentor and guide Data Governance Analysts and Data Stewards.
