Job summary

Immersive, Bristol-based cybersecurity data platform leader, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager - Data Engineering to guide an 8+ person data team and scale our cloud data platform in a Hybrid UK role.

You’ll shape data strategy, own modernization, and partner with product, analytics, and commercial teams to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions that power insights and decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform teams with coaching
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures and cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Hands-on with SQL, data modeling, pipelines; familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a talented team of 8+ data engineers with coaching and clear goals
• Define and execute data engineering strategy aligned with product and business priorities
• Modernize data infrastructure including data warehouse, orchestration layer, and tooling
• Set and monitor team performance metrics, timelines, and quality standards
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and commercial teams to drive data initiatives
• Advocate for scalable, secure data solutions and modern best practices
• Represent data engineering in leadership forums and articulate business value
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture encouraging growth and ownership
