NPAworldwide is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our engineering team in the UK. You will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines across government and critical infrastructure sectors, working with Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud platforms.

The role offers hybrid/remote options within the UK, with occasional travel to client sites. You will contribute to data governance, security, and performance improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in complex technical environments.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, integration, quality and governance.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with Snowflake and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, validate, and analyse data requirements across complex environments.
• Profile and analyse large-scale datasets to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Design and implement robust ETL/ELT frameworks for data ingestion and transformation.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and operations.
• Implement data quality controls and prepare datasets for reporting and visualization.
• Design and maintain data models to support analytical and operational needs.
• Manage cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, S3) and data platforms like Snowflake.
