Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a specialist technical consultancy delivering data solutions for Central Government, Defence and Critical National Infrastructure across the UK.

The role involves designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines, working with Snowflake, Databricks and cloud platforms, and ensuring data accuracy, security and performance. Hybrid/remote UK working options are available.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of data management principles, including data modelling, integration, quality, and governance.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in complex technical environments.
• Experience with Snowflake and Databricks is essential.
• Proficient in SQL and Python with experience in data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust ETL/ELT frameworks for ingesting, transforming, validating, normalising and cleansing data.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and operational decision-making.
• Monitor and optimise data workflows for performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and present technical findings.
