Job summary

Data Kraken, a Newcastle-area based analytics consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end technical project delivery for data and software initiatives. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and owning project roadmaps with autonomy.

You will combine strong data engineering awareness with modern delivery frameworks, emphasizing Jira/Confluence workflows, risk management, and clear client-facing documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in technical, software delivery or data consultancy.
• Deep expertise in Atlassian tools: Jira & Confluence.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project delivery of multi-stream data and software projects.
• Lead Jira/Confluence workstreams including dashboards and docs.
• Foster cross-team collaboration between analysts, engineers and stakeholders.
• Define project quality frameworks, risk mitigation and Charters/SOWs.
