Data Kraken seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end data and software delivery for client engagements. You will own technical roadmaps, mitigate risks, and coordinate between clients and engineering teams.
The role emphasizes Jira/Confluence and Agile practices, with remote work from Newcastle and regular UK travel to Oxford, plus opportunities to drive high-impact projects.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of proven project management experience within a technical, software delivery, or data consultancy environment.
- Advanced mastery of Jira & Confluence for project setup, reporting, and automation.
- Hands-on background across software/data delivery (e.g., Product Owner, BA, or Scrum Master).
- Excellent written and spoken English; ability to translate complex concepts into client-ready documents.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery and end-to-end delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end Project Delivery: own complex, multi-stream data/software projects; manage scope and budget.
- Process & Jira Optimisation: configure Jira dashboards and Confluence docs; track velocity and reporting.
- Working Across Teams: align data analysts, engineers, and executives; remove blockers.
- Quality & Risk Control: establish project QA, risk mitigation, and define scope with Charters/SOWs.
