Job summary

Data Kraken is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end technical project delivery with strong autonomy. The role involves owning project roadmaps, mitigating risks and acting as the main liaison between clients and engineering teams, all while delivering data and software projects to time and budget.

You will bring deep knowledge of data engineering, software delivery and modern project management practices, with established experience using Jira and Confluence to drive

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of proven project management experience within a technical, software development, or data consultancy environment.
• Deep expertise in Jira and Confluence, with advanced board setup, workflow configuration and reporting.
• Hands-on background or familiarity with software/data delivery roles such as Product Owner or Scrum Master.
• Excellent written and spoken English with ability to write robust project documentation (Charters, SOWs, status reports).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Project Delivery: own complex, multi-stream data and software projects; lead sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming and ensure delivery on time and within scope.
• Process & Jira Optimisation: configure and maintain Jira spaces, dashboards and Confluence docs to track velocity and report to stakeholders.
• Collaborate Across Teams: coordinate between data analysts, engineers and executives to align goals and unblock delivery.
• Quality & Risk Control: establish project QA, risk management, and define clear scope with Charters and SOWs.
