Job summary

Data Kraken in Oxford invites an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end technical project delivery, streamline processes, and manage client relations. You will own project roadmaps, mitigate risks, and act as the primary liaison between clients and engineering teams.

You will bring strong technical acumen in data/software delivery, with deep expertise in Jira/Confluence and agile frameworks. The role offers high autonomy, regular bi-weekly travel to Oxford, and progression toward

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of proven project management experience in a technical/software environment.
• Deep expertise in Jira & Confluence: advanced board setup, workflows, metrics.
• Hands-on background across software/data delivery (e.g., Product Owner/BA/Scrum Master).
• Strong English communication and robust project documentation skills.
• Experience designing and refining end-to-end delivery processes across lifecycles.
• Willingness to travel to Oxford and eventually Newcastle; remote starting supported.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Project Delivery: own complex, multi-stream data/software projects.
• Process & Jira Optimisation: configure dashboards, track velocity, report to stakeholders.
• Working Across Teams: align data analysts, engineers, and executives to goals.
• Quality & Risk Control: define scope, draft Charters and SOWs, mitigate risks.
