Adecco Portugal is recruiting a Data Centre Technical Operations Engineer II (Chief Engineer) to ensure reliability of critical electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems across AWS data centres in London. You will lead engineering teams and drive continuous improvement in operations.

This is a 12‑month fixed term, on‑site role (5 days a week) involving maintenance of generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, AHUs and chillers, plus incident response and project delivery.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Experience with switchgear, UPS, transformers, circuit breakers.
• Experience delivering engineering projects from concept through deployment.
• Experience in data centres or critical infrastructure preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support engineering teams in troubleshooting and maintaining critical infrastructure.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Deliver technical training on equipment including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, AHUs, and chillers.
• Manage facility projects from planning through implementation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry standards.
• Provide emergency and after-hours support when required.
