Job summary

AECOM seeks a Senior Architect or Architectural Technologist for its Data Centre workflow, leading design across multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-quality architectural outputs. The role demands strong technical design content, CSA bias, and effective design management within strict timelines.

The preferred location is Belfast, with Dublin, Manchester and London also suitable. Occasional travel across the UK, Ireland, and Europe is required.

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Architect or Technologist (Chartered) with experience on large multi-disciplinary design projects (preferably Data Centres).
• Willingness to work under Associate Directors and Directors across various areas.
• Degree with Diploma or Masters is preferred, not essential.
• Experience with different building contracts is helpful.
• IT literacy with CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Senior Architect/Designer on a portfolio of projects.
• Coordinate design across multi-disciplinary teams and ensure governance.
• Present to clients and prospective clients.
• Ensure Safety in Design principles are applied throughout.
