Job summary

AECOM seeks an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to lead design efforts for large, multi-disciplinary projects, preferably data centres, across the UK and Europe. You will coordinate teams, maintain design quality, and drive governance from bid through delivery.

The role requires strong technical design content, CSA bias, and fluency in English, with eligibility to work in the UK. Belfast is the preferred location, with travel throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Architect or Technologist with experience on large multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Degree qualification in architecture; Diploma or Masters preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Strong written and spoken English communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design across multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering teams to deliver integrated outputs.
• Ensure governance at bid stage and throughout project delivery.
• Present to clients and prospective clients and manage design documentation quality.
• Apply CDM Safety in Design principles throughout all design stages.
