Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to join our multidisciplinary design team focused on data centre projects. The role supports collaboration across UK and European offices, ensuring high-quality architectural outputs within tight timelines.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical design skills, proficiency in REVIT/AutoCAD, and experience coordinating across disciplines.

Qualifications

Fully Qualified Architect or Technologist (Chartered or equivalent) with experience on large, multi-disciplinary design projects.
Willingness to work across different areas under guidance and collaborate with engineering teams.
Degree qualification, preferably with Diploma or Masters in Architecture.
Experience with various building contracts is helpful.
Knowledge of UK Building Systems, Standards and Regulations; IT literate with CAD and MS Office.
Ability to manage busy workloads and meet deadlines; evidence of professional development.

Responsibilities

Senior Architect/Designer on a portfolio of projects.
Coordinate design across multi-disciplinary teams with discipline leads.
Ensure governance at bid and delivery stages and present to clients.
Apply CDM Safety in Design principles throughout all design stages.
Oversee production of design information and maintain quality standards.
Manage interfaces between Design and Site teams and provide timely design support.
