Job summary

PSD Scotland is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant for the Seer Tech Office, delivering and supporting data and analytics platforms across a modern cloud-based stack. Hybrid role with bases in Glasgow and Edinburgh; 36 hours per week, UK resident with entitlement to work.

You will lead on complex data, integration and BI initiatives, collaborate with analysts, developers and service teams, and mentor colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills across modern data platforms with cloud knowledge.
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, Denodo, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale enterprise data and analytics solutions.
• Experience working in Agile or digital delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert technical leadership across platforms such as AWS, Denodo, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects.
• Managing platform environments, including configuration, upgrades, security models and performance optimisation.
• Supporting service improvement, operational stability and ongoing platform evolution.
• Contributing to technical strategy and roadmap planning, including evaluation of emerging technologies.
• Leading the technical design, development and implementation of complex data, integration and BI solutions.
• Mentoring and developing other technical staff within the team.
