Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is seeking a Technical Analyst to support the Data & Analytics function, translating business needs into robust data pipelines and data warehouse structures. You will work with large datasets, document data requirements, and ensure clear specifications for development teams.

This hybrid role involves collaboration with stakeholders across health and social care, using Agile and DevOps approaches through the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in business and technical analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation.
• Translate business needs into clear, accurate technical specifications.
• Experience with large, complex datasets, including data profiling and data quality assessment.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data warehousing concepts, and backend data processes.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including explaining complex information clearly.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle, working to plans, milestones and delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and document data requirements, data mappings, and transformation logic for robust pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with technical colleagues, delivery teams and stakeholders across health and social care.
• Support development teams with clear, implementable specifications to build data solutions.
